Dushanzi Grand Canyon

The Dushanzi Grand Canyon, located about 28 km southwest of Dushanzi in Xinjiang, is a natural gorge formed over millions of years by erosion from snowmelt and rainfall from the Tianshan Mountains. Stretching roughly 20 km in length, its walls display striking wave-like rock formations. The Kuitun River flows through the gorge and eventually makes its way into Dushanzi. In recent years, the site has been developed into a AAAA-level national scenic area, featuring modern amenities like a glass suspension bridge for visitors to experience the canyon’s scale and beauty.
